Step by Step
On this speedboat tour you will learn how to take the controls of an F13 speedboat . You will cruise around Charleston harbour (where the activity starts) and the surrounding area for about 2 hours. You will be able to take turns with your companion to take photos and enjoy the sun and sea breeze. The activity will be done in a small group of no more than 8 people .
No previous knowledge is necessary, as you will learn everything you need to know to drive a speedboat thanks to a professional guide, who will accompany you throughout the trip. Through an on-board communication system, you will receive all the instructions you need from the guide while driving the speedboat.
Through the same system, you will be able to listen to the guide's explanations about the history and culture of Charleston, a former slave town founded in 1670.
The city is characterised by cobblestone streets, colourful pastel-coloured houses and Southern mansions . During the tour, you'll pass under some of the city's most iconic buildings, including the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. You'll also pass by the city's aquarium and see Joe Riley Waterfront Park .
This urban park is known for its beautiful fountains and lush trees. In 2007 it was also awarded the Landmark Award by the American Society of Landscape Architects. You can also admire the USS Yorktown, a US Navy aircraft carrier, and the green lawns of Patriots Point Links, the city's largest golf course.
At the end of the activity, you will return to the original starting point, as it is a round trip. A tour full of speed and thrills, a must for those who love the sea and adrenaline.
