Experience Highlights

This is not a classic guided tour through the streets of Charleston, but an immersive experience that takes place in small groups. Instead of going with a guide, on the morning of the investigation, you will receive a text message with the meeting point and instructions on both the route and the paranormal device you will be using.

Once ready, the itinerary begins! The tour takes place in the French Quarter, the oldest and most haunted area of the city. You'll see Philadelphia Alley, St. Philip's Church and other highlights. The activity lasts approximately one and a half to two hours.

  • Enjoy an immersive small group experience.
  • Learn how to use paranormal devices
  • Learn about the history of Charleston in an original way.

Step by Step

This is not a typical ghost tour, but an interactive experience to learn about Charleston's history in an original way. It lasts approximately one to two hours, takes place in small groups - 10 people - and includes an expert guide. Each participant is assigned a paranormal device and a tutorial to learn how to use it. Below you will find the available options:

- Infrared illumination camera

- Thermal imaging camera

- Electromagnetic Field Meter

- Onvoy communication device

- Spirit box, a tool that allows recording sessions without outside noise

- Laser grids

- Mel REM meter

The itinerary touches on Charleston's most haunted spots such as Philadelphia Alley, a half-hidden alley that has been the scene of several duels. Another interesting spot is St. Philip's Church, the oldest religious congregation in South Carolina. Located in the French Quarter, it is recognisable by its neoclassical façade, but especially by the large steeple that towers over it. It also has a cemetery where many prominent people are buried and many swear they have seen ghosts.

The route continues to Washington Square, a small park with cobblestone streets, gas lampposts and wrought-iron fences. In this picturesque spot haunts the ghost of Henry Timrod, a poet who was nicknamed "the laureate of the Confederacy".

Another highlight is at 235 E Bay Street. This was the home of Eliza Lucas Pinckney, a landowner who introduced indigo cultivation to South Carolina. You'll have to check the device you've been given, as this is one of the most haunted places in Charleston.

The paranormal experiences continue at The Powder Magazine, the Powder Magazine. It dates back to the 18th century, when the city was fully fortified and threatened by both foreign invaders and pirates.

The route also normally stops at Lawrimore Park Cemetery. Please note that the route runs along the French Quarter and the stages may vary.

As a novelty it is good. The truth was more what I like about ghost hunting than what you can see. I enjoyed the guide's talk and the walk very much.
