Step by Step
This flamenco experience at Lola de los Reyes in Seville will take you on a musical journey where the passion and traditions of the people of Andalusia are deeply felt.
You will attend an approximately one hour flamenco song and dance show in the Triana neighbourhood, where the rhythms, known in the traditional jargon as palos, will thunder across the stage with alegrías, bulerías, soleerías, soleás, and other traditional flamenco rhythms. The rhythms of alegrías, bulerías, soleás, fandangos and tangos, which vary according to the part of Spain in which they are performed, make them unique.
The presentation of this art form at Lola de los Reyes is as classic as you will find in Seville: no loudspeakers or microphones, you will be part of the live experience, just as the ancestors did since the 18th century, when flamenco culture was born.
During the performance, you can enjoy a drink, which can be soft drink, wine or beer, and try some typical appetizers of the Sevillian gastronomy offered by the venue (food not included).
The artists on stage are professionals specialised in the interpretation of flamenco as an art form, so you will get close to its cultural essence in an intimate and direct way.
