More about: Eiffel Tower Tickets and Seine River Cruises
Climbing the Eiffel Tower and enjoying a cruise on the Seine are, without a doubt, two of the top plans for your trip to Paris.
If you're sure you're going to enjoy both, I recommend you buy a ticket that combines the two experiences. This way, you will save time and money, as you may benefit from a discount, but the most important thing is that you won't have to waste time queuing to buy your ticket, but you will only have to wait at the security checkpoint. Are you up for it?

Recommended if... you want to get to know Paris.
How to buy tickets to climb the Eiffel Tower and take a cruise on the Seine?
The combined ticket to climb the Eiffel Tower and take a cruise on the Seine can be purchased conveniently online. There are several companies offering this package for travellers visiting Paris. This is a highly recommended option, as it guarantees you priority access to both attractions without queuing, saving you time, and the price of the combined ticket (from around 90 euros) is usually cheaper than the sum of the separate tickets to both attractions.
When is the best time to enjoy the Eiffel Tower and the Seine?
The combined ticket for the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River cruise is available on the same day. In fact, the tour lasts approximately two and a half hours, one hour for each attraction, and can be booked in the morning or in the afternoon. The first visit will take place at the Eiffel Tower and, once you've finished, you'll head to the Pont de Bir-Hakeim from where the Seine River cruise will depart.
Although I recommend that if you have the opportunity, you do it as late as possible, as the cruise is even more beautiful after sunset. The illuminated city of Paris captivates everyone who sees it. Of course, early in the morning there will be fewer tourists and the visit will always be more comfortable.
Visit the post tips for visiting the Eiffel Tower and Seine cruises at night for more information on the best time of day to use your combined ticket.
How much can I save with a combined Eiffel Tower and Seine cruise ticket?
The combined ticket for the Eiffel Tower and Seine River cruise starts at £90, while the Eiffel Tower climb starts at £30 and the Seine River cruise, depending on the time of day and the services included, varies greatly in cost. So, depending on the time of year you buy it, you can save a few euros.
But the real benefit of this combined ticket is the time saving, as you will have priority access to both attractions without queuing, so you won't waste any time except at the Eiffel Tower security checkpoint, which is something you need to keep in mind if you want to make the most of your trip to the City of Light.

How to get from the Eiffel Tower to the departure point of the Seine cruise?
The combined ticket for the Eiffel Tower and Seine cruise is also very convenient, as the boat departs from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, which is located at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. To get to both sites you can choose between the metro, bus, car or train. In my opinion, the most convenient is the metro.
- Metro: There are three metro stations next to the Eiffel Tower: Trocadéro, Bir-Hakeim and École-Militaire, and from all three you can comfortably walk there in just a few minutes. Visit the metro map: and read the post how to use the Paris metro so you won't have any doubts.
- Train: Take line C and get off at Champ de Mars station. From there to the Eiffel Tower it's only a seven-minute ride.
- Bus: The lines that pass by the Eiffel Tower are 42, 69, 82 and 87. From the bus stop to the Eiffel Tower it will take you approximately eight to ten minutes.
- Car: If you go by car you should bear in mind that the Eiffel Tower does not have its own car park, but there are three car parks very close to the monument: Pullman Tour Eiffel (the most convenient option as it is less than a minute's walk away, at 18 Av. de Suffren); Parking Paris Autocar (located at 443 Avenue Joseph Bouvard, approximately eight minutes on foot), and Parking Indigo Joffre École Militaire (at 2 Place Joffre, approximately 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower).
