Hanoi Water Puppet Show Tickets

Enjoy this water puppet show in Hanoi with these tickets. Avoid the queues at the box office by booking in advance and your tickets for this traditional show, which lasts around 50 minutes, will be sent to your hotel.

Water puppetry emerged in the Red River Delta and other rice-growing regions of northern Vietnam a thousand years ago during the Lý Dynasty. Villagers performed water puppets to celebrate the end of the rice harvest, at religious festivals or simply as entertainment.

This has remained a traditional spectacle and attracts tourists to Vietnam's various theatres, where they see fireworks, special effects and live music in the same show.

Please note that you will only be able to enter the theatre with the physical tickets that will be given to you at the hotel, as the venue does not accept digital tickets. In addition, you will be able to choose the time you want to enter the theatre to see the show when you make your reservation.

The ticket does not include taking pictures of the show. Therefore, if you want to take a picture with your camera, you will have to buy a ticket at the entrance that allows you to do so, but always without flash.
