In addition to these screenings you'll see storytellers dressed in period costume, bringing the looters to life and regaling you with tales of their daring salvages. Enjoy these fascinating and informative performances and then continue to discover the interior of the museum.
Explore its two floors and through its various rooms discover a multitude of treasures dating back to the 1600s and 1700s . See artefacts from the Spanish fleets that sank in the stormy waters of Key West, as well as a collection of pieces from the Isaac Allerton shipwreck of 1856 . Don't miss other authentic artefacts and lift with your own hands a 29kg silver bar that was salvaged from the Spanish galleon Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas.
On top of all this, you can also climb the watchtower and even ring the bell that warned the locals when a ship ran aground. Climb to the top of the tower for a spectacular view of the island.
