Walk along The Lyda Bunker Hunt, a meandering walkway lined with flowers and plants that serves as the main artery of the Botanic Gardens. From there, you can visit the various gardens that make up the grounds.
Visit the waterfall and carp pond in the Lay Family Garden, formally known as the Lay Ornamental Garden. This is a space of about one hectarefilled with hundreds of perennials and woodyplants. You'll also have access to Crape Myrtle Allee, a space that especially stands out from late spring through winter, going from lush green leaves to full blooms, and finally to an absolutely beautiful Christmas scene in the winter.
The Jonsson Color Garden will delight all visitors. It has extensive flower beds and seasonal plants. Here you can find more than 2,000 varieties of azaleas, which bloom profusely in spring, along with daffodils and tulips.
Also visit the DeGolyer House. With a beautiful fountain and ample space for seasonal flowers and perennials, it's a welcoming place to sit on the lawn or just enjoy the view before entering the house.
