Step by Step

Experience a full day of nature, culture, history and music on this unforgettable tour from Edinburgh. In the morning, you'll set off for the Highlands, the green heart of Scotland, and travel through mountains, forests and rivers steeped in history and legend.

The first stop on the tour will take you to see the imposing Kelpies, 30-metre equine sculptures that pay homage to the mythological beasts of Scottish folklore. From there, the bus takes you into the landscapes that inspired stories of heroes and outlaws such as Rob Roy MacGregor.

Afterwards, you'll visit an authentic whisky distillery where you'll discover how Scotland's famous 'water of life' is made. Learn about the production process and enjoy a single malt whisky tasting. A must for lovers of fine whisky.

The tour continues with a walk through Hermitage Forest, where you'll follow a trail through ancient trees to the Black Linn Falls on the River Braan. You will then visit the charming village of Dunkeld, with its cathedral on the banks of the River Tay, a haven of tranquillity and beauty.

On your return to Edinburgh, you'll have free time to dine or relax before attending the famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on the Castle Esplanade. A breathtaking evening show with bagpipes, drums, fireworks and military choreography.
