Join this private tour in which you will visit some of the most important and well-known places in Bangkok. The activity will last approximately 8 hours, during which you will stroll through the streets of Thailand's capital, in an immersive experience that will allow you to delve deeper into the culture of the city.
As the tour is private, it will be conducted exclusively for you and your companions, which will allow you to enjoy a more welcoming and personalised experience. Throughout the activity, you will be accompanied by an expert guide, who will help you learn about the history, architecture and culture of the places you will visit.
Of the monuments you will visit, the following stand out:
- Pak Khlong Talat: is the largest flower market in Bangkok and one of the largest in all of Thailand. The market offers a wide variety of flowers, as well as fruits, vegetables and spices. It is particularly lively at night, as it is open 24 hours a day.
- Wat Arun: also known as the Temple of Dawn. The temple is renowned for its impressive Khmer-style architecture and decoration. It has a 79-metre high central tower decorated with glass and ceramic mosaics and surrounded by four smaller towers. It is possible to climb to the top of the central tower for a panoramic view of the river and Bangkok.
- Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage School: is a massage school located in the Wat Pho temple. Here you can learn the traditional Thai massage technique, which is a form of physical therapy that combines acupressure, meditation and yoga .
In addition to learning the massage technique, visitors can also explore the beautiful Wat Pho temple and see its famous statue of the reclining Buddha, which is 46 metres long and covered in gold leaf.
- The Grand Palace: one of the most visited monuments in the capital. Since the 18th century, it has been the official residence of the King of Thailand . The palace has several highlights, such as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Throne Hall and the Coronation Hall. The complex also houses several museums displaying royal art and artefacts.
- Golden Mount: This is a Buddhist temple located on top of a man-made hill about 80 metres high, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The temple was built in the 19th century and has a 360-degree golden stupa at the top, which contains a sacred relic of the Buddha .
Upon completion of the activity, you will be driven back to your hotel, as both pick-up and drop-off are included in the activity.
