Learn from a professional chef how to make mojo picón sauce with this workshop in Tenerife. In this activity, which is aimed at small groups of around 12 people and lasts approximately an hour and a half, you will learn the recipe for mojo sauce, typical of the Canary Islands.
Mojo picón is a spicy red pepper sauce from the Canary Islands made with oil, vinegar and seasoning, often served with wrinkled potatoes and other snacks.
During this experience you will learn how to make up to three types of this spicy sauce, following family recipes such as coriander mojo, parsley mojo and red mojo. You will use a wide variety of ingredients that will be available in the workshop for you and the whole group.
In fact, the recipe that you will follow by the professional chef you will be able to take home with you to show off your knowledge.
In addition to the mojo picón workshop, you will have the opportunity to taste a variety of appetizers and a wine tasting from the bodega where the workshop will take place, such as Dragoblanco, Hollera or Monje Tradicional. This option of alcoholic beverages will be limited to travellers of legal age.
