Step by Step
Visit 3 Asturian coastal towns: Luarca, Cudillero and Avilés, on this 1-day trip from Oviedo. In addition to visiting them, you will be able to learn about them thanks to the tour guide who will accompany you at all times. Each city is separated by about 30 km, but this won't be a problem, as all transfers are included in the tour.
During the 10 hours you will spend on this experience, you will learn about the customs and history of each of the cities you visit. You will find more traditional places that still maintain the roots of their origins, while others have taken on a much more modern look.
Luarca is a small fishing town where the sea has been its main source of livelihood. By the sea, this beautiful place is surrounded by mountains that blend in with the water. While visiting the town, you will also get to know the birthplace of Nobel Prize winner Severo Ochoa.
Cudillero is a small town built on a hill, so that the houses are staggered and with little space to move around. This gives it a unique appearance, very attractive to visitors. After a guided tour of the historic centre, you will have free time in Cudillero to eat wherever you like or explore the streets on your own.
Avilés is the third largest city in Asturias. Because of this, you will find all kinds of shops within it, from clothes shops, restaurants, bakeries and much more. In this city you will learn more about the history of the Asturians, which is mainly focused on the industrial sector, especially mining.
