Step by Step
This tour links the main tourist resorts of the Costa del Sol with the historic city of Cordoba. In addition to Marbella, the air-conditioned bus also stops in Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Malaga. You can choose the departure point during the booking. The activity lasts approximately 12 hours and includes an expert guide. In addition, it includes the entrance fees and/or the visit to the following attractions:
- Roman Bridge - A 16-arched structure built in the 1st century B.C. It was probably part of the Via Augusta, the trade route linking Rome to Cadiz.
- Jewish Quarter - One of the most characteristic places in Cordoba thanks to its maze of narrow streets and whitewashed houses. Here you will find monuments such as the Church of San Bartolomé, the Casa de Sefarad and the Plaza Maimónides.
- Mosque Cathedral - A Renaissance church built on the structure of the most important mosque of Al-Andalus. The original mosque was built in the 8th century, during the reign of Abderraman I.
- Synagogue - Built in the early 14th century, it is characterised by its small size and splendid decoration.
- Gardens of the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos - Three terraces with fountains and ponds. Here you will find a luxuriant vegetation with palm trees, orange trees, rose bushes and other plants.
Although this is a guided tour, you will have free time to explore the city on your own. You can take advantage of this time to see monuments such as the Roman Temple, the famous Cordoban courtyards or the Royal Stables.
Lunch is not included in the tour, but there are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars where you can try local specialities such as salmorejo, Cordoban-style oxtail or fried aubergines with sugar cane honey.
