How does the Madrid Explorer Pass work?

The Madrid Explorer Pass is very simple to use. When you make your booking you will receive a digital version of the pass and instructions for its use by email. You can carry it on your phone or, if you prefer, print it out. You will also have the option of downloading the mobile application that will be specified on the booking voucher. You will be able to access the complete list of attractions, manage your bookings and, in short, have all the information you need to enjoy your pass at your fingertips.

How do I activate the pass?

You have 1 year from the date of purchase to activate your pass by using it for the first time at one of the included attractions. As it is a flexible pass, the moment you activate it you have 30 days to visit the number of attractions you have chosen.

The Madrid Explorer Pass is a flexible pass that will save you both time and money. You can choose between 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 attractions or tours and you will have an extensive list of some 25 of the most popular sights and activities in the city. You will save time by having all the tickets and information on your smartphone and with this pass you will always save money compared to buying individual tickets separately.

Are there attractions that require advance booking?

It is possible that some of the attractions you have chosen may require advance booking to guarantee your entry. To do this, simply check the information included in the instructions that will be emailed to you with your booking and follow a simple process.

Do children need a pass?

If you're travelling with children, you'll be interested to know that children under the age of 3 don't need to buy a pass, as they get free entry to most attractions. From 3 to 12 years old have an additional discount.
