The greenish circles of the archaeological complex are distributed across the length and breadth of a plateau, closing in sequence until they reach a depth of about 30 metres.

When you reach the Maras salt pans, located at about 3,000 metres above sea level, you will see a landscape of natural whitish terraces , salt pools from which an incredible natural pink salt is produced.
