You'll start at the iconic Hachiko Square, where you'll learn the story of Japan's most loyal dog. From here, you'll cross Shibuya Crossing, the busiest pedestrian intersection in the world, feeling the city's unique energy.
Your first food stop will be at a konbini (convenience store), where you'll sample the famous Japanese egg sandwich. This iconic snack is noted for its softness and creaminess, and you'll learn about the key role of konbinis in Japanese daily life.
You'll continue exploring Center Gai, the heart of Shibuya, to a lively Kushiage stall, where you'll sample fried cheese or chicken skewers, accompanied by tonkatsu sauce or Japanese mayonnaise. While enjoying this classic street food, you can capture a photo with Shibuya's bustling atmosphere in the background.
Your next stop will take you to the Don Quijote shop, a paradise of assorted goods, where you'll sample jyuen pan, a bread with melted cheese, while exploring their incredible selection of items. Afterwards, you'll walk down Udagawa Street, where you'll enjoy freshly prepared onigiri with traditional fillings such as salmon, umeboshi or tuna with mayonnaise.
