Step by Step

Avoid the long lines and get skip-the-line access to Venice's tallest monument with these skip-the-line tickets to St. Mark's Bell Tower, also known as the Campanile. Standing almost 100 metres high, this former lighthouse-turned-belfry offers one of the most breathtaking views of the entire city.

Located in the heart of Piazza San Marco, the bell tower is one of the most recognisable symbols of Venice. From its top, which is easily accessible by lift, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view over the Venetian rooftops, the canals, the nearby islands and, on clear days, even the Alps in the distance.

At the top you will see the five original bells (reproduced after the tower's reconstruction), as well as a golden figure of the archangel Gabriel crowning the peak. As well as being an excellent vantage point, the campanile also has a fascinating history: it was originally built in the 12th century, collapsed in 1902 and was faithfully reconstructed in 1912.

Thanks to this fast-track entrance, you'll avoid the usual queues and make the most of your time in Venice. It's a short but essential visit if you want to see the city from a different perspective.
