Explore the best Sicilian flavours on a gastronomic walking tour through the centre of Taormina. For about 2.5 hours, you will walk through the streets of the Old Town tasting traditional delicacies.
To ensure a more intimate experience, the activity will involve a small group of about 10 people and will be led by a local guide, who will take you to three culinary landmarks to learn about and enjoy the exquisite typical food.
As a welcome you will receive a glass of Prosecco, the renowned Italian sparkling white wine. During the tour you will taste 4 local fish dishes that you can pair with different regional wines.
At another stop you can enjoy a variety of bruschetta (grilled bread with toppings), appetizers such as cheese with jam, honey and caponata (stew made with aubergines) or cold meat.
And finally, dessert. At the last stop you can try traditional Italian pastries such as torrone, a sweet made with honey and almonds. Accompany your dessert with wine or limoncello.
