Join this guided tour of Pisa, where you can discover more about Romanesque art and Pisan history. On this walking tour you will pass through representative corners of the city such as Piazza dei Miracoli, where the famous Leaning Tower stands, through Piazza dei Cavalieri, the Archbishop's Palace or the Episcopal Palace.
This tour will last about 1 hour and a half. A professional guide will accompany you all the time as he tells you about the mysterious origins of the city and its history with peoples such as the Struscans and the Romans.
The best known location in Tuscany is probably the Piazza dei Miracoli, where you will find the monumental complex composed of the Cathedral, the Baptistery and, as a jewel of Romanesque art, the famous Leaning Tower. Despite the city's small population, millions of visitors are attracted by the charms of Pisa. Thanks to the included entrance tickets you can visit the famous tower and discover the charms of the interior of the cathedral.
You will also find medieval houses and buildings, such as the Archbishop's Palace and the Episcopal Palace. This is the seat of the Diocese of Pisa and is just a few metres from the eastern end of Piazza dei Miracoli.
Finally you will see Piazza dei Cavalieri which, after Piazza Duomo, is the most important square in the city. It was formerly the seat of the Order of the Knights of St. Stephen and is now a cultural and student centre.
