Step by Step
In this activity you will have the opportunity to visit, accompanied by an expert guide, the interior of one of the main jewels of Florence, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, considered one of the main masterpieces of Gothic art and the Italian Renaissance.
Built between the 13th and 15th centuries, this icon of the Tuscan city stands out for its impressive dome, more than 100 metres high, the work of the famous architect and goldsmith Filipo Brunelleschi.
On this guided tour of its interior, you will learn all about the history, architecture and art of this basilica, which in 1982 was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the rest of the historic centre of Florence. You will have the opportunity to see its famous dome from the inside, which is as beautiful as the outside, and to learn about the life of its creator, Brunelleschi, who is considered the most important Italian architect of the entire Renaissance.
You can also climb up to its exclusive terraces, as well as to the top of the dome, from which you will have access to unbeatable views of this city with more than 2,000 years of history.
