A local guide will lead the tour and narrate fascinating facts about the exciting wine history of northern Israel. Some of the activities you will do and points of interest you will visit include:

  • Galilee: has been a fertile ground for growing grapes since biblical times. With its rich volcanic soil, higher altitudes and suitable climate, this land offers ideal conditions for growing high quality grapes.
  • 4 wine cellars: if you follow the standard itinerary, you will have the opportunity to visit them and tour their production areas. You will see at close quarters how grapes are grown, harvested and transformed into wine. You will taste some of the wines produced in-house.
  • Zichron Yaakov: is a picturesque town famous for its vineyards and wineries, producing some of the country's finest wines.

If you wish, you can do your wine shopping and take home the best and most exquisite local editions to enjoy at home.
