This adventure in Iceland is perfect for nature lovers and adrenaline junkies. In total, the activity lasts approximately 40 minutes and includes an experienced instructor and the necessary equipment for a bird's eye view (helmet and harness).

This zip line is the longest in Iceland and one of the most impressive in Europe. The descent is approximately 1 km long and connects the town of Hveragerði with the Reykjadalur hot spring. The term literally means "valley of steam", as it is criss-crossed by a hot stream and dotted with fumaroles.

The attraction is inspired by Iceland's national bird, the gyrfalcon. It nests in the tundra and mountainous areas near the North Pole and is a skilled hunter. While chasing its prey, it can exceed 100 km/h, as can the zip line.

The weather in Iceland is characterised by its instability, both in winter and summer. It is therefore advisable to check the weather forecast frequently and to wear waterproof clothing, comfortable shoes - preferably hiking shoes - and a hat.

    Although it was a bit scary and vertigo-inducing at first, I found it a good way to get rid of some of the fear of heights and enjoy unparalleled views. A recommendable experience.
