The cards are valid for ages 6 and under and each card is valid for one adult and one child up to the age of 6 travelling with them. So children under the age of 6 do not need to pay for a separate pass.

How does the Budapest Card work?

The Budapest Card is a physical card that you will have to show at the included attractions and on public transport to access it. What you will receive with your purchase is a reservation of the same card, which you will have to show at a redemption point to get the physical card. Don't worry, because once you have reserved your card you will receive all the information and instructions in your email, including the redemption points, so that you can pick it up and use it without any problems. At the same redemption points where you will receive your card, you will be well informed about any questions you may have regarding the use of the Budapest Card.
