Snorkelling experiences are one of the most popular and I'm sure you'll love seeing the marine life of Punta Cana.
Finally, I don't recommend adding Macao Beach to your list of things to do with kids in Punta Cana as the waves can be a bit rough, especially if the kids can't swim. Some people even go to Macao Beach for surfing because of the waves.
