On this tour you will have the opportunity to join a 9-hour excursion to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by an expert guide, who will tell you many interesting facts about the natural conditions of this amazing place.
Plitvice Lakes National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its impressive waterfalls, lakes and trails . The park covers an area of more than 300 square kilometres and is home to a multitude of animal species, such as brown bears, wolves, lynxes and golden eagles .
During the visit, you can enjoy a boat trip to the lower lakes, where you can see the largest waterfalls in the park. Afterwards, you will continue walking along the trails to explore the upper lakes, including the magnificent Upper Lake.
Upper Lake is one of the sixteen lakes that make up the park and is the largest of them all, famous for its crystal clear turquoise waters and the giant waterfalls that feed it. On its northern shore, you can find the highest waterfall in the park, known as Veliki Slap, with a height of 78 metres.
For your convenience, you can enjoy transport to and from the park to the cities of Split or Trogir. All in all, this is a visit you won't want to miss during your trip to Croatia.
